Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Opportunity at Yale New Haven Health

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia team. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Implement accurate and safe patient-centered anesthetic care
- Complete thorough anesthesia apparatus safety checks and monitoring equipment
- Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and obtain patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
- Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia
- Monitor patients' physiological conditions and perform clinical interventions as needed
- Accurately document anesthesia records and protect patient health information
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) completion of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
- Current State of Connecticut nursing license and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure
- Prefer clinical working experience as a CRNA within the given specialty/service line
