Overview

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia team. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Implement accurate and safe patient-centered anesthetic care
  • Complete thorough anesthesia apparatus safety checks and monitoring equipment
  • Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and obtain patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
  • Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia
  • Monitor patients' physiological conditions and perform clinical interventions as needed
  • Accurately document anesthesia records and protect patient health information
Qualifications
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) completion of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
  • Current State of Connecticut nursing license and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure
  • Prefer clinical working experience as a CRNA within the given specialty/service line
