As a Medical Unit Graduate Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients with complex neurological conditions, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients with neurological conditions, including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions as appropriate.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure effective care.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocols.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, ensuring they understand their care and treatment plans.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Minimum one year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required for Critical Care areas.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and critical thinking skills.
