As a Specialty Pharmaceutical Sales Professional, you will be responsible for promoting our products to healthcare professionals and maximizing sales potential in your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to promote our products and ensure appropriate patient use.
- Provide value to healthcare professionals through face-to-face discussions and education on product features, benefits, safety profile, and approved indications.
- Meet and exceed sales goals and objectives, while maintaining a high level of product knowledge and customer understanding.
- Work independently and exercise good business judgment and discretion to analyze and address territory opportunities.
- Travel approximately 30% of the time, with some overnight travel required.
- BA/BS (or higher) from an accredited college or university, with a focus in business, life science, or clinical degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous pharmaceutical, medical device, or medical sales experience, or outside/field B2B experience, or previous experience as a Labor & Delivery Nurse or other clinical professional with current relationships with OB/GYNs in the assigned territory.
- Consistent track record of quantifiable/documented sales accomplishments.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, analyze, and act upon sales data within an assigned geography.
- Solid and persuasive business communication with physicians and providers.
- Familiarity with a Sales Force Automation (SFA) application is preferred.
- Computer Skills: proficiency in business software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
