Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Public Health AmeriCorps member. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that promote health and wellness in communities across Iowa.

Job Responsibilities
  • Network with county health leaders to promote physical activity programming in community settings
  • Assist with coordination of course-based service learning managed through the CCPH network
  • Partner with state Extension specialists to promote the Walk with Ease program through county extension offices
  • Facilitate promotion and marketing of the Walk with Ease program through the Iowa Community HUB
Program Benefits

As a Public Health AmeriCorps member, you will receive a living allowance, training, and an education award upon successful completion of service.

Terms of Service

Members are permitted to work at another job during off hours and are encouraged to attend school during off hours. A car is recommended for this position.
