Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests, responding to their questions and concerns, and assisting them with their video gaming needs.
  • Support the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit goals by developing and implementing sales strategies, managing inventory, and controlling expenses.
  • Supervise and train Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders to ensure they are providing best-in-class guest service and meeting sales and profit goals.
  • Manage store operations, including visual merchandising, inventory management, and loss prevention.
  • Process guest purchases and returns accurately and efficiently using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
  • Respond to guest comments and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist the Store Manager with scheduling, payroll, and benefits administration.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or accredited bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
  • At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
  • At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
  • Video game knowledge preferred.
  • Possess an outgoing and welcoming personality with strong people skills.
  • Provide genuine and individualized assistance to every guest during every visit.
  • Demonstrate clear verbal and written communication and listening skills, both in person and on the phone, using spoken and written English.
