Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiographer PRN to join our team at HCA HealthONE Rose. As a key member of our cardiovascular imaging department, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms to assist in the diagnostic evaluation of the heart.

Responsibilities
  • Operate an echo machine to record and assess wall motion, valvular function, and kinesis of the heart.
  • Assist with stress echocardiograms, contrast echocardiograms, and esophageal (TEE) echocardiograms as needed.
  • Calculate test data for physician interpretation and processing.
  • Participate in quality assurance projects related to departmental activities.
  • Perform other ancillary duties as required.
Requirements
  • Certified and/or registered cardiac diagnostic sonographer (or eligible to be obtained within 1 year).
  • Current BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Two years of college or equivalent technical training in an accredited program.
  • Minimum of one year of recent hospital or clinical experience preferred.
