Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • For floaters: Must be willing to travel a minimum of 80% of the time.
  • Adherence to all Southeastern Grocers policies and procedures is essential.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions in English.
  • Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain it.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive service to guests; greet, assist, and thank them in a friendly and prompt manner.

  • Organize and process guest orders efficiently.
  • Prepare and bake products according to established guidelines, ensuring quality assurance.
  • Decorate baked goods according to customer specifications, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Receive and store deliveries in designated areas.
  • Stock and rotate products to maintain freshness and manage date control.
  • Operate department equipment and tools safely.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized, reporting any safety hazards or equipment issues to management.
  • Notify management of any theft, shoplifting, unauthorized markdowns, or other illegal activities.
  • For floaters: Travel to assigned locations to fulfill duties.
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as required.
