Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service while advocating for the mission and services of the Animal Shelter.
- Perform receptionist tasks including greeting visitors, managing phone communications, and handling email inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records by inputting data into the shelter's computerized systems related to animal intake, adoptions, and medical histories.
- Process client payments, manage cash transactions, and ensure accurate financial reporting at the end of each day.
- Facilitate adoption processes by preparing necessary paperwork and ensuring all documentation is readily available.
- Execute general office duties such as mail processing, document scanning, and maintaining an organized reception area.
Education: A high school diploma or GED is required.
Experience: A minimum of two years in a customer service role, preferably within a veterinary or animal shelter environment, is desirable. Experience working with animals is an advantage.
Licenses/Certifications: A valid driver's license is mandatory.
