Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician - Customer Service Specialist at Kroger, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our customers while supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting pharmacists with various tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for our customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pharmacists in all responsibilities except those requiring a pharmacist's professional judgment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including prescription information and health history.
  • Assist with the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
  • Provide a positive and welcoming experience for our customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow, maintaining a safe and clean environment at all times.
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, including HIPAA and CLIAwaived guidelines.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of national registration, certification, or licensure as a pharmacy technician.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
