Job Summary:
Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Novice Nurse RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and document skilled nursing services in accordance with physician orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Re-evaluate patient nursing needs regularly and utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care.
- Initiate the plan of care when directed and request necessary revisions as patient status and needs change.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor and document their effectiveness.
- Assure patient safety at all times and intervene as necessary to changes in condition.
- Support professional practice by observing standards of nursing practice, patient care, and accreditation.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current license to practice nursing.
- Minimum GPA requirement (authorization from Area or Regional clinical leadership may be considered for applicants who do not meet the threshold).
- Current CPR certification.
- PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable).
- Successful completion of Maxim Homecare Novice Nurse Program orientation and training.
