Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Counsel to join our team at Tyson & Mendes. As a Senior Counsel, you will be responsible for leading complex insurance defense and trial advocacy cases, providing expert guidance and support to our clients, and contributing to the growth and success of our firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective case strategies to achieve exceptional results for our clients
  • Lead and manage teams of attorneys and support staff to ensure successful case outcomes
  • Provide expert guidance and support to clients on insurance defense and trial advocacy matters
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure our firm remains at the forefront of insurance defense and trial advocacy
  • Contribute to the growth and success of our firm through business development and strategic planning

Requirements:

  • JD from an ABA-approved law school
  • 8+ years of solid litigation experience, specifically with insurance defense and trial advocacy
  • 5+ years of experience in general insurance defense litigation
  • Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including all facets of discovery and trial
  • Experience handling insurance defense matters preferred
  • Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision
  • Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
