Mobile Health is growing, and we're seeking talented professionals to join our team.

This per diem position is for coverage at multiple locations, with available hours Monday through Friday.

Job Summary

The Nurse Practitioner will provide occupational health services and education to clients based on their medical and psychosocial needs.

Services will be provided in accordance with applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations, as well as the client's Bill of Rights.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides quality occupational health care services to clients in accordance with professional standards and center policies.
  • Reviews medical histories of clients upon initial visit and as necessary.
  • Coordinates onsite medical care and interventions as needed.
  • Supports the team, including Medical Assistants, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants.
  • Participates in the center's performance improvement program, monitoring and assessing patient care and clinical performance.
  • Stays knowledgeable about occupational health policies and regulations affecting patient care programs.
  • Completes accurate and timely submission of clinical and professional records in the EMR, ensuring compliance with local, state, federal, and accreditation requirements.
  • Contributes to a positive work culture and aligns efforts with other healthcare initiatives.
  • Participates in quarterly performance improvement committee meetings.
  • Maintains a professional attitude and appearance.
  • Recognizes, accepts, and respects individuals.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program as a registered nurse, with a Master's degree required.
  • Established Collaborative Agreement.
  • Experience using EMR/EHR.
  • Licensed and registered as a Registered Nurse and Certified as an Adult, Family Nurse Practitioner by the New York State Education Department.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and customer service skills.
  • Good computer literacy skills with the ability to process automated health records accurately.
  • Must obtain a Medical Examiner Certification within 3 months of hire.

Hourly Rate: $65 - $75
