Automation Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Automation Quality Assurance Engineer to become part of our newly established Service Consultant Sub-Practice, working exclusively with a prominent and influential long-term client in the financial services sector. This position requires a blend of independent initiative and collaborative teamwork, with a focus on furthering the client's objectives. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of the financial services landscape, along with a demonstrated history of both independent contributions and effective team collaboration. Key Responsibilities:

  • Over 10 years of hands-on testing experience with enterprise Java transactional systems, data integration, and vendor packaged solutions.
  • Extensive experience in developing test plans and test cases (including atomic integration and user scenarios) and effectively communicating test strategies to product stakeholders, ensuring alignment with relevant user stories.
  • Proficient in creating comprehensive automated data integration scripts for inbound and outbound feeds, API, and ETL components, addressing both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Strong SDET background in test automation development (Java/Spring) utilizing tools such as Selenium (Java, Cucumber, TestNG, or JUnit).
  • Experience in supporting Azure DevOps/GitLab Continuous Delivery by developing and integrating test pipelines into the main solution build pipeline.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman and RestAssured for validating API integrations.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Alteryx for data integration or validation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Accleq (low-code) test automation is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with SQL development is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud services.
  • Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) methodologies and associated testing tools.
