Job OverviewAs a Senior Manager, Private Audit at Oraculum Inc, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our private audit division.   • Develop and implement audit strategies for private clients, leveraging your knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and auditing standards.
  • Lead a team of auditors, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality audit services.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential audit issues, utilizing your analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Review financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining the highest level of accuracy and precision.
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders, effectively presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve audit processes and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with senior management to establish audit objectives and priorities, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of audit documentation and workpapers, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Participate in client meetings, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the resolution of complex audit-related issues, applying your expertise and judgment to ensure effective resolution.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior auditors, helping to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members, promoting growth and development within the team.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of audit methodologies, applying your knowledge and expertise to improve the overall quality of audit services.
  • Stay abreast of changes in accounting and auditing standards, ensuring that the audit team remains up-to-date with the latest developments.
  • Lead special projects and initiatives related to private audit services, applying your leadership skills and expertise to drive success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in private audit or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing audit engagements and client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and auditing standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for private audits.
