Senior Manager, Private Audit

- Collaborate with senior management to establish audit objectives and priorities, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of audit documentation and workpapers, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Participate in client meetings, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee the resolution of complex audit-related issues, applying your expertise and judgment to ensure effective resolution.
- Provide guidance and training to junior auditors, helping to develop their skills and expertise.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members, promoting growth and development within the team.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of audit methodologies, applying your knowledge and expertise to improve the overall quality of audit services.
- Stay abreast of changes in accounting and auditing standards, ensuring that the audit team remains up-to-date with the latest developments.
- Lead special projects and initiatives related to private audit services, applying your leadership skills and expertise to drive success.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in private audit or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing audit engagements and client relationships.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and auditing standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
