Job Summary

As a skilled Truck Technician at Ohio Peterbilt, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and resolving complex vehicle issues. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and maintaining the reputation of our dealership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough inspections and repairs on Peterbilt vehicles, adhering to dealership and factory standards.
  • Collaborate with the Service Supervisor and Service Writer/Advisor to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Interact with dealership personnel, manufacturer representatives, and customers to provide exceptional service and support.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, prioritizing safety and adhering to federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a vocational diploma or diesel or truck repair degree preferred.
  • Four to six years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • A CDL license is recommended, with a valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Preferred certifications include MX Engine, Cummins Heavy Duty, Cummins Mid-Range, Allison Transmission, or Eaton Transmission.
