Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team in Albuquerque. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and cost-effective production results. Your expertise will be instrumental in meeting order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare annual production budget, oversee progress, and determine actions to cost issues as necessary to manage operations within the budget and resources.
  • Develop and execute plans to reduce non-value-added costs, increase revenues, and delight customers by delivering products on time with high factory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates.
  • Ensure that Four Quadrants (4Q) program training and methods are implemented in the organization.
  • Provide support as required, during customer visits to explain the capabilities of the manufacturing facilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 6 years of management experience in an industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
  • Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of success, continuous improvement, and change implementation.
  • Basic management skills, understanding of financial reports.
  • Formulation and control of operating budgets.
  • Knowledge of the following: EPA Regulations, rubber molding operations, Lean manufacturing, 5's, and standardized work applications.
  • Flexible to work across 3 shifts as needed.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
