Central Sterile Supply Technician

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Central Sterile Supply Technician to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain, you will be responsible for the distribution of medical supplies, equipment, and medications within our clinic medical offices.
Responsibilities- Receive, unpack, and inspect medical supplies and equipment for damage or defects.
- Verify accuracy of shipments and report any discrepancies or damage.
- Participate in periodic inventories as assigned.
- Fill requisitions and deliver requested items, verifying deliveries.
- Maintain the storeroom and ensure that all supplies are properly stocked and organized.
- Travel to other facilities as assigned by management.
- Responsible for stocking shelves in central supply locations, including rotating stock, straightening stock, and checking expiration dates.
- Maintain your assigned vehicle, if assigned, clean at all times.
- Check all items on the vehicle for safety and notify the supervisor immediately if attention is needed.
- Account for all fuel tickets.
- Use a cell phone assigned to you, it must be turned on and in your possession at all times, and answer it in a timely manner.
- Asset tag equipment when received as required.
- Oversee and check stock par levels in clinic offices and scan office needs into the electronic purchasing system.
- Place purchase requisitions utilizing the electronic purchasing system for stock replenishment in a timely manner to prevent stock outs and minimize inventory levels.
- Ensure that departmental billing information is entered correctly into the electronic purchasing system.
- Participate in annual health screening.
- Adhere to the Safety Program as outlined in Core Competencies and Injury, Illness and Prevention Program.
- Maintain professional composure and confidence during stressful situations.
- Maintain open communication using the appropriate chain of command regarding issues.
- Present a neat appearance in proper attire and identification as required by the position, department, and RMC policy.
- Display a positive, "can do" attitude within the department and across departmental lines to contribute to the overall customer service program in place at Riverside Medical Clinic.
