Position Summary:

This Full-Time Weekend Nights Medical Technologist role is situated within the Core Lab Department at Mercy Hospital Rogers. The Medical Technologist is responsible for conducting and interpreting laboratory analyses on patient samples using advanced techniques. This role is crucial in providing medical personnel with vital information to assist in patient diagnosis, all while adhering to our mission and service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex laboratory tests and analyses on patient specimens.
  • Interpret results and provide accurate information to healthcare providers.
  • Maintain compliance with laboratory protocols and quality standards.

Qualifications:

Medical Laboratory Technician:
  • Education: Associate's degree in a relevant field.
  • Certification: MLT ASCP or equivalent.

OR

Medical Technologist I:
  • Associate degree with MLT certification and three years of clinical experience.
  • Approved Military Training (if applicable).

OR

Medical Technologist II:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Certifications: MT or MLS (ASCP) or equivalent required.
