At Phoenix Technologies, we are committed to providing high-quality training for special education teachers who are dedicated to assisting, advising, and caring for people with disabilities. Our three-year practical training program is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to work effectively with individuals with disabilities.
Training ComponentsThe program consists of a practical and theoretical component. The practical training takes place in our supported living facilities, workshops for people with disabilities, and forensic psychiatric clinics, with three days per week. The theoretical instruction, with two days per week, takes place at one of our specialized schools for special education.
Key ResponsibilitiesSpecial education teachers will work in cooperation with other professional groups and services, making joint decisions about goals, content, and forms of action based on acquired knowledge of modern theories and methods of disability assistance. They will provide holistic care and education tailored to the individual needs of people with disabilities.
Work EnvironmentOur special education teachers can find employment in a variety of settings, including day care centers, residential and nursing homes, workshops for people with disabilities, psychiatric clinics, outpatient social services, prevention and rehabilitation centers, or special needs schools and kindergartens.
