As a key member of the Nectar Markets team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth in our retail cannabis stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Customer Experience: Maintain a tidy, safe, and inviting store environment to ensure each customer leaves with the product they need and a desire to return.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our cannabis products and therapies to effectively recommend and sell to customers.
  • Store Operations: Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked, and the store is well-maintained, adhering to company standards and policies.
  • Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive, customer-service-oriented work environment and contribute to the overall success of the store.
  • Point of Sale and Cash Handling: Accurately use and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) system, handle cash transactions, and apply discounts as needed.
  • Data Entry and Compliance: Timely and accurately enter customer data, verify paperwork and documentation, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Availability: Willingness to work weekends and flexible scheduling.
  • Permits and Certifications: Possess a Marijuana Workers' Permit or be able to obtain one at your own expense.
  • Transportation: Reliable method of transportation to get to work.
  • Skills and Qualities: Exceptional customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and a fun attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for the entirety of a full shift.
