Salary Range: The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $89,900 to $148,300. In New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento), the salary range is $107,900 to $168,500.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) expert to join our team. As a Senior FAAS professional, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality advisory services to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement accounting solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business goals, identify areas of improvement, and develop strategic plans to achieve those goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. You must have a bachelor's degree, CPA certification, and 3 to 5 years of experience as an auditor in a public accounting firm.
  2. Strong technical writing skills and advanced risk management knowledge are essential for success in this role.
  3. You should have a deep understanding of the marketplace, as well as commonly used terminology, processes, and tools.
  4. A proven record of excellence in managing, mentoring, and improving a team of high-performing colleagues is required.
  5. Confidence in researching and resolving emerging client issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies, is necessary.
  6. Eligibility to obtain US CPA licensure in your work state is mandatory.
  7. Ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary is expected.
  8. Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites, with a driver's license strongly recommended, is required.
