Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Mesa, Arizona.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide naturalistic occupational therapy to young children with autism. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy and a strong background in working with children with autism.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement individualized occupational therapy plans for young children with autism
- Develop and implement interventions to support gross motor skills, fine motor skills, feeding, and other activities of daily living
- Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans in coordination with other clinical specialties
- Coach and mentor a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to effectively translate OT goals into their therapy
- Monitor client progress, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate needed changes to team members and families
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- License to practice occupational therapy
- 3+ years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably with children with autism
- Ability to connect and engage with young children and their families
- Clear professional communication, both verbally and in writing
- Quality medical, dental, and vision plans
