Job Title: Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary clinic, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, individualized care to children with autism and their families.

About the Role:

As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist at Soar Autism Center, you will be responsible for designing and implementing naturalistic occupational therapy programs for young children aged 2-6 years. Your expertise will focus on enhancing clients' gross motor, fine motor skills, feeding abilities, and performance in daily activities. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including ABA therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans and conduct co-treatments.

You will also provide coaching and mentorship to our team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), guiding them in integrating OT goals into their therapy sessions and supporting their professional development. Regular monitoring of client progress, revising treatment plans as needed, and ensuring effective communication with team members and families are essential aspects of this role.

Qualifications:
  • A degree in Occupational Therapy with a focus on pediatrics or a similar field
  • Current licensure as a Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in working with children with autism or related developmental disorders
  • Strong understanding of and commitment to early intervention and integrated care approaches
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a passion for supporting the growth and development of children with autism
