Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our team in a school-based role near Edmond, OK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Speech-Language Pathologists in providing direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.
  • Assist in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual student needs, focusing on communication skills development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress and integration of therapy goals into the classroom.
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and student performance.
  • Adapt and modify therapy activities under the guidance of a licensed SLP to enhance student engagement and success.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field.
  • Current SLPA license in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
