Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, align, and repair failed and damaged systems using mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills.
  • Prepare work schedules to ensure efficient operations and maintain knowledge of processes and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise and notify the maintenance department of equipment problems.
  • Ensure that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of qualified maintenance experience.
  • Proven maintenance, repair, and technical experience and background in industrial manufacturing, commercial maintenance, or military operations or maintenance.
  • Qualified mechanical experience includes one or more of the following: tactical and commercial wheeled vehicles, tracked vehicles, power generators sets, or construction equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing formal, over-the-shoulder, and on-the-spot training to contractor and unit personnel.
  • Proven communicator in verbal and written disciplines to include basic computer skills and document preparation.
  • Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Simultaneous maintenance, modification, and repair projects on a variety of maintenance actions, tasks, or repairs.
  • Clearance Requirements: Must have an active (DoD) Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch, and kneel.
  • Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
  • Must be able to work in high noise areas.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
  • Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.

The projected compensation range for this position is $61,800-$102,700.
