Job Title: Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team at Freeman Honda. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine and diagnose vehicles to identify the root cause of any issues
  • Discuss repairs with the shop foreman or service advisor to ensure accurate and efficient repair
  • Communicate additional service requests to the service advisor to ensure seamless customer experience
  • Plan work in cooperation with the shop foreman to ensure efficient use of time and resources
  • Provide labor estimates to the service advisor to ensure transparency and accuracy
  • Monitor repair time and update the service advisor to ensure timely completion of repairs
  • Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs to ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Assist in mentoring technician trainees to ensure knowledge and skills are transferred effectively
  • Attend company and factory training to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques
  • Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations to ensure compliance and customer safety
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 months related experience and/or training
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
