Gastroenterology Specialist

Healthcare United is actively seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist to become part of a well-established Healthcare System. The ideal candidate will possess a robust work ethic, outstanding communication abilities, and a commitment to enhancing patient outcomes through superior clinical care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Flexible office hours to accommodate work-life balance
- Physician call schedule of 1:7
- Rotating call from Friday to Thursday, including holidays
- Average patient volume: half-day clinic and half-day surgery, approximately 7-10 patients
- Collaboration with 3 RNs and dedicated Medical Assistant support for each physician, along with 2 in-house surgery schedulers
- Opportunity for virtual consultations
- Management of digestive disorders in adult patients
- Diagnosis, treatment, and surgical procedures for gastrointestinal diseases
- Access to strong mentorship from senior physician leadership
- Robust referral network, averaging several general GI cases per week
- In-network oncology services providing comprehensive, wrap-around care
- Onsite medical equipment available for use
- Perform a variety of procedures, including:
- Colonoscopy
- ERCP
- Upper Endoscopy (EGD)
- Infusion therapy
- Collaboration with an advanced endoscopist in the group, offering EUS and a wide range of pancreaticobiliary interventions
