Healthcare United is in search of a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist to become part of a well-established Healthcare System. The ideal candidate will possess a robust work ethic, outstanding communication abilities, and a commitment to enhancing patient outcomes through superior clinical care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Flexible scheduling for office hours
- Physician on-call ratio of 1:7
- On-call duties from Friday to Thursday, including rotating holidays
- Average patient load: Half-day clinic and half-day surgical procedures, typically 7 to 10 patients
- Collaboration with 3 RNs and dedicated Medical Assistant support for each physician, along with 2 in-house surgery schedulers
- Opportunity for virtual consultations
- Management of digestive disorders in adult patients
- Diagnosis, treatment, and surgical interventions for gastrointestinal diseases
- Access to mentorship from experienced physician leaders
- Strong referral network: Average weekly referrals for general gastroenterology
- In-network oncology services providing comprehensive support
- Availability of onsite medical equipment
- Procedures offered include:
- Colonoscopy
- ERCP
- Upper Endoscopy (EGD)
- Infusion therapy
- Advanced endoscopist within the group providing EUS and a variety of pancreaticobiliary interventions
