Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group is a physician-led, multi-specialty group with a growing Critical Care service in Boise, Idaho. We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our team and provide high-level advanced practice services to patients in our intensive care units.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, consult, and manage critically ill patients in collaboration with board-certified critical care/pulmonary physicians.
- Provide independent high-level advanced practice services, including ICU admission and discharges, procedures, and oversight of patients within scope of practice.
- Work in collaboration with ICU Medical Director, attending, and consulting physicians to ensure provision of appropriate care.
- Participate in the development and clinical flow of all services provided by the department.
Requirements:
- Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho; valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
- A strong medical background and a desire to provide acute care to support a growing multi-specialty medical group.

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise has a 22-bed Med/Surg ICU, a 10-bed cardiac ICU, and a 10-bed Cardiovascular/Thoracic ICU, providing Trauma, Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery, Neurosurgery, Interventional Cardiology, interventional stroke care, Oncology, and General Surgery services among others. Pulmonary diagnostic services include endobronchial ultrasound, bedside diagnostic ultrasound, navigational bronchoscopy, pulmonary function testing, and sleep diagnostics.
