Job Summary

The Andersons is seeking a highly skilled Plant Technical Services Manager to join our team. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in manufacturing process improvement and technical services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough analysis of manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies for process improvements, focusing on reducing waste and enhancing productivity.
  • Utilize statistical tools and methodologies to monitor and analyze process performance.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing site, driving process excellence and efficiency.
  • Identify, scope, and lead projects at assigned location that are designed to minimize total cost, improve safety, quality, and customer service.
  • Develop and maintain an appropriate level of knowledge of the applicable codes and regulations.
  • Coordinate and oversee quality assurance efforts for the site, ensuring delivery of high-quality products that meet customer expectations and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 5-7 years' relevant experience in manufacturing process improvement and technical services.
  • Lean Six Sigma or Yellow/Green/Black Belt certification a plus.

Working Conditions

  • Must be able to stand/sit for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to work in plant and office environments.
  • Working conditions may include: dust, fumes, moderate noise, and uneven surfaces.
