Clinical Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our team at the Town of Brookline. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will provide mental health and substance use assessments, interventions, and counseling services to youth and their families.
Job Summary:The Clinical Social Worker will work closely with schools, community agencies, and other stakeholders to provide prevention, education, and outreach services to youth and families. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work or a related field, with at least three years of experience in mental health, substance use, and adolescent development.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide mental health and substance use assessments, interventions, and counseling services to youth and their families.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address the needs of youth and their families.
- Collaborate with schools, community agencies, and other stakeholders to provide prevention, education, and outreach services.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy modalities to address the needs of youth and their families.
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records as per agency, county, and state requirements.
- Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in mental health, substance use, and adolescent development.
- Knowledge of services and resources available to adolescents.
- Ability to work with individuals, families, and community agencies.
- Ability to work with teenagers and adolescents who are resistant or angry.
The Clinical Social Worker will work in an office or other environmentally controlled room, with frequent contact with outside providers, mental health clinicians, Department of Social Services, parents, police, schools, and court personnel. The position requires the ability to work well with a variety of town, school, and community agencies, and to maintain a professional and courteous attitude to all clients, partners, and community members.
Salary and Benefits:The Clinical Social Worker will be paid $40/hourly, with a work schedule of 15-18 hours weekly during the September to June school year. The position is open until filled.
