Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform fabrication or modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies of mid-range to high complexity.
  • Install connectors, substrates, components, and modules in highly complex microwave assemblies, utilizing paste and sheet epoxies.
  • Disassemble, assemble, modify, rework, and repair operations on various pre-production subassemblies, assemblies, and complete systems that utilize integrated circuit technology.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering to develop procedures and troubleshoot products to specifications.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in electronics/microelectronics assembly.
  • Ability to work 10 hours under a microscope and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers, and other similar tools.
  • Good dexterity and eye/hand coordination.
  • Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings.
  • Good computer skills to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
Desired Skills:
  • Familiarity working in an ESD and FOD-controlled environment.
  • Experience in mechanical assembly processes of small electronic devices.
  • Experience working on military products in ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environments.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience soldering components to printed wiring boards in accordance with J-STD-001.
  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment with good interpersonal, teaming, and communication skills.
Security Clearance Statement:
