Join Our Team as a Part-Time Early Childhood Teacher or Assistant

The Town of Brookline's Soule Early Childhood Center is seeking part-time staff to work in a supportive environment that values diverse perspectives, respect, trust, and fun. As a part-time early childhood teacher or assistant, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining parent relationships, collaborating with colleagues, and participating in continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a high-quality Montessori and Reggio-inspired learning environment for children 15 months to 5 years.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a sense of community and support among staff and children.
  • Participate in continuous professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and guardians.

Qualifications:

  • Early childhood education experience: 2 years (preferred).
  • Teaching experience: 2 years (preferred).
  • EEC Certification (preferred).

Available Shifts:

  • AM: 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mon - Fri.
  • PM: 12:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Mon - Fri.
  • Starts ASAP.

Compensation:

The starting salary is $22.00-$26.00 per hour, depending on education, certification, and experience. Several positions are available and filled on an ongoing basis. Please apply with a resume and cover letter. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until positions are filled.
