About the Role

Uniper is seeking a highly skilled Natural Gas Trading Analyst to join its North American team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for analyzing market trends, developing trading strategies, and providing data-driven insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex models to analyze market data and identify trading opportunities
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement data visualization tools to present market insights
  • Work with the London and global analytics team to manage reports and exchange data/analysis across platforms
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the natural gas market, including pricing and execution of traded instruments
  • Design and present trade strategies to the team, taking into account market trends and business objectives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a programmer/analyst, with strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Experience building and managing fundamental energy models and analytic tools
  • Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and Pandas
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
