About the Role

This position is responsible for providing clinical support to healthcare providers in a fast-paced medical office setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in medical assisting and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Collect and process patient data, including vital signs and medical histories
  • Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by healthcare providers
  • Perform routine EKGs and document results
  • Assist with phlebotomy and collection of specimens
  • Provide patient education on office policies, medications, and disease management
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records
Requirements
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in a medical office setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
