Position Overview

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician or assistant to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can utilize your skills to make a positive impact on the lives of animals and their owners.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with examinations, procedures, and surgeries
  • Perform diagnostic tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and X-rays
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Prepare patients for surgery and provide post-operative care
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and medication administration
  • Handle and restrain animals safely and with compassion
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or assistant preferred
  • Knowledge of Impromed and/or Idexx lab equipment a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
