We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter II to join our team at Logistic Services Int. in Jacksonville, FL.

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Drafter II will be responsible for creating detailed mechanical drawings and designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD software. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ASME/ANSI drawing standards and experience working with 3D design software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and draft mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks and AutoCAD software.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed drawings and designs.
  • Collaborate with senior drafters and management to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus four years of related work experience in CAD design and drafting, or;
  • Associates Degree in CAD or drafting studies, plus two years' related work experience in CAD design and drafting.
  • Intermediate proficiency with AutoCAD (electrical and mechanical drafting).
  • Intermediate proficiency with SolidWorks (mechanical design and drafting).
