Job Summary:

The Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled Kennel Attendant to provide daily care for our boarded animals and assist with kennel maintenance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of our furry friends.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily care for boarded animals, including feeding, bathing, grooming, and exercising.
  • Assist with kennel maintenance, including cleaning and disinfecting cages and equipment.
  • Monitor the behavior and health of our boarded animals and report any concerns to the veterinary team.
  • Maintain accurate records of animal care, including weight, physical condition, treatments received, and medications given.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the veterinary team, including laundry and equipment maintenance.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs or more and stand on feet for long periods.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience with animals preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
