Job Summary:
Residential Services Inc. is seeking a skilled and compassionate Direct Support Shift Leader to join our team in Chapel Hill/Carrboro. As a Direct Support Shift Leader, you will play a vital role in leading, planning, and organizing activities for employees and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our group home settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of Direct Support Coordinators in providing high-quality care and services to residents.
- Plan and organize activities, outings, and events that promote socialization, skill-building, and personal growth for residents.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that support the mission and goals of Residential Services Inc.
- Ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Monitor and report any incidents, accidents, or concerns to the management team.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Experience in the IDD field required.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
Compensation and Benefits:
The pay for this position is $39,078/year. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
Work Schedule:
The work schedule for this position includes:
- Wed. - Sat. and every other Sunday (2nd shift: 3-11pm and overnight sleep shifts).
- Sun.- Wed. and every other Saturday (2nd shift: 3-11pm and overnight sleep shifts).
- Wed.-Sat. (Wed. 12:30-10:30pm, Thurs. 2:30-10:30pm, Fri. 12:30-9:30pm, and Sat. 8am-9pm).
- Sun.-Wed. (Sun. 8am-9pm, Mon. 2-10pm, Tues. 2:30-9:30, Wed. 2-10:30pm).
