Job Title: Ultrasound Specialist RVT

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Specialist RVT to join our team at Texas Children's Hospital. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including routine and complex cases, while maintaining the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound procedures, including routine and complex cases, with accuracy and precision.
  • Prepare and administer medications as needed, in accordance with state regulations and institution policy.
  • Document patient information and procedure details accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in quality control activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and image quality.
  • Provide training and education to students, technologists, and other staff members.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of a formal diagnostic radiology program.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • RVT certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, within 18 months of entry into the role.
  • RDMS-AB, RDMS-OB, or RDMS-PS certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • 3 years of radiology experience, with any/all modalities.
