Job Title: Licensed Psychologist
Job Summary:
The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville invites applications for a position as a licensed psychologist primarily in the outpatient setting. This position is a full-time faculty member at the non-tenure accruing level of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor depending on qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based assessment and treatment of adults in the outpatient setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments and provide feedback to patients and families.
- Supervise and mentor master's level therapists and therapists in training.
- Participate in clinical research and supervision.
- Teach and mentor students and residents in the department's general psychiatry residency and post-doctoral fellowship programs.
Requirements:
- PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology.
- Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in Florida.
- Experience in dialectical behavior therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and/or cognitive behavioral therapy.
