- Medication Management: Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure safe and effective care.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting empowerment and self-management of mental health conditions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document patient information, progress, and outcomes, and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Education: Current registered nurse licensure in good standing and a minimum of one year recent psychiatric nursing experience.
- Certifications: Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certifications, if applicable.
