The Opportunity

RS&H is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our esteemed buildings engineering team.



As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our engineers and architects to deliver innovative, practical, engineering solutions. Your primary functions will include taking ownership of electrical designs as Engineer of Record, assisting in developing electrical designer and junior Engineer skillsets, performing QC reviews for other Electrical Engineers, and coordinating deliverables for electrical staff.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead designs from a diverse list of projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Coordinate project recommendations and work with our full-service team of Architects, Engineers, and Project Managers.
  • Help develop and hire a team of engineers for future growth, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Mentor and provide leadership to junior Engineers on staff, promoting professional growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's of Engineering degree from an accredited university.
  • 5+ years in design experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal relationship skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Currently holds PE license, in good standing, with the ability to obtain and maintain licensure in multiple states.
  • Demonstrated capability in leadership of design teams, with experience managing staff and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Working knowledge of NEC and other NFPA codes, with experience working on Building and site design.
  • Ability and willingness to travel in the US and internationally, with a valid passport.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with REVIT, with a strong understanding of building information modeling (BIM) principles.
  • Ability to participate in business development, marketing, and client coordination, with a strong understanding of the engineering industry.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain engineering licensure in multiple states, with a strong understanding of state-specific regulations.
  • NCEES certification, with a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
