Electrical Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to collaborate with our Electrical Engineering Team.


The successful candidate will apply electrical engineering principles to provide technical and design support for our project design teams. They will evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to design development and creation of specification packages.
  • Verify design aspects comply with local codes and apply code provisions.
  • Assist in developing project proposals and client presentations, and attend client meetings.
  • Perform field inspections, measurements, and calculations, documenting results.
  • Conduct research on material qualities, feasibility, and restrictions.
  • Propose new ideas and processes, staying informed of developments in practice areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 2 years' electrical design experience. A strong preference is given to candidates with an Electrical PE license. The ideal candidate will have proficient skills in REVIT, CAD, and AGI Lighting Software.


To be successful, the candidate will need:

  • Design and technical experience working in coordination with other disciplines.
  • Proficiency in REVIT and AGI.
  • Understanding of code provisions, products, and material information.
  • Ability to coordinate information exchange between clients, project managers, and project teams.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Prior experience leading teams and willingness to mentor new designers and interns.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • A team player with the ability to work independently.
