Job Summary:
The role encompasses a blend of patient care responsibilities and educational commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
I. EDUCATION 100%
- Serve as a supervising physician in outpatient clinics, imparting knowledge on patient care, procedural techniques, time management, doctor-patient interactions, and professional ethics.
- Provide third on-call coverage.
- Design and lead core curriculum workshops for the residency program.
III. ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES 0%
IV. RESEARCH AND ACADEMIC ENGAGEMENT 0%
Qualifications:
1. Awareness of the needs of underrepresented minority groups.
2. Graduate of an accredited medical school.
3. Completion of a residency training program.
4. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine at the time of employment.
5. Licensed to practice medicine in Illinois.
6. Participation in inpatient medical services.
