Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Acute Dialysis to join our team. As an Acute Dialysis Nurse, you will provide critical care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease in a hospital setting.

Schedule and Work Environment

This position requires a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will work daily in a hospital setting, delivering dialysis to patients at a contracted healthcare system and becoming an integral part of both the hospital and DaVita teams.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nephrology care through various renal therapies, including Hemodialysis and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT).
  • Deliver lifesaving care during regularly scheduled and on-call shifts.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
  • Prior experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg settings is beneficial but not required.
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification is a plus.
