Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to provide high-quality patient care and support our team of physicians and nurses in the General Surgery Colorectal Surgery subspecialty clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine care and management of patients with acute and chronic complaints, in collaboration with the supervising physician and through implementation of standardized procedures.
  • Conduct complete and comprehensive history and physical exams, interpretation of lab results, diagnostic studies, and radiology studies.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and wound care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's or doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • Graduate of an NP program accredited by the National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of California.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of California.
  • National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) from an agency accredited by the American Board of Nursing Specialties (ABNS).
