Job Title: Licensed Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:

The Licensed Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing high-level support services to members related to the sales and service function, including servicing insurance policies, processing applications, renewals, and amendments, and selling travel and membership products. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level support services to members related to the sales and service function
  • Servicing insurance policies and processing applications, renewals, and amendments
  • Selling travel and membership products
  • Generating leads and updating members on travel and insurance specials
  • Providing cashiering services to members, including taking insurance payments, travel, and membership payments
  • Responding to customer inquiries and referring to agents when necessary
  • Providing administrative support to Travel and Insurance Agents during peak periods
  • Conducting outbound promotional calls for insurance and/or travel products
  • Participating in a team environment to promote customer satisfaction and consistent service following the customer service model
  • Receiving and resolving member/customer complaints and seeking assistance from management when necessary
  • Participating in office events developed to generate revenue, improve member awareness of products, and support local community activities
Requirements:
  • Active State Property & Casualty License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Providing a high level of customer-focused service
  • Servicing insurance policies and processing applications, renewals, and amendments, and taking payments
  • Responding to billing and coverage questions
  • Promoting sale of insurance products and/or travel and membership products
  • Outbound promotional calls for insurance and/or travel
  • Computer software applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and Web-based operations
