About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team at Sekisui Aerospace. As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in the production of commercial aircraft composite products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow job traveler instructions to assemble parts using small hand tools, bonding adhesives and assembly jigs.
  • Hand wraps insulation blankets, using utility knives, foam insulation, and insulation tape.
  • Performs light sanding and abrading of composite, plastic, and some metal components.
  • May perform some light riveting using rivet squeezes and pop rivet guns.
Requirements
  • Fine hand motor skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skill both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated and quick learner.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Understanding of process specifications.
Working Conditions

As an Assembler, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels. You will also be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure your safety.

What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate: $20.30-$24.00.
  • Full-time non-exempt schedule: 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
  • 8 paid holidays plus closed (with pay) for a week during the winter break.
  • 15 days per year accrued Vacation/Sick time.
