Clinical Research Statistician Opportunity

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a Clinical Research Statistician to join their team in San Francisco, California. This full-time role will provide statistical support for ongoing clinical research projects and work closely with the PI, Dr. Phillips. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Statistics/Biostatistics or a related area and at least three years of relevant experience.


The estimated salary for this position is $114,000 per year, based on industry standards for similar roles in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a Clinical Research Statistician at UCSF, you will have the opportunity to work on statistical methodological projects and perform data analysis from multi-center randomized controlled trials. You will also be responsible for drafting sections for trial protocols pertaining to statistics and providing statistical support for data capture forms and database specifications.


To be successful in this role, you will need to have thorough knowledge of statistical programs, including R or Stata, and a strong understanding of research function and statistical aspects of randomized clinical trials. You should also be able to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing.
